Kim Maguire to head up merchandising at Office Depot
Kim Maguire has been named executive vice president of merchandising at Office Depot Inc., with responsibility for the organization that oversees the products and services the office supplies chain sells in stores, online and through catalogs in North America.
Maguire previously was executive vice president and chief merchandising officer at home shopping network QVC and executive vice president of merchandising at Circuit City. Before that, he spent more than 20 years at Target Corp.
"Kim`s track record of driving sales and profitability with world-class merchandising teams makes him the perfect leader for this very important organization within Office Depot," says Chuck Rubin, President, North American Retail for Office Depot. "We are delighted that Kim has agreed to join the Office Depot team."
The company also has named Randy Wick as senior vice president of merchandising, strategy and services. Wick, who comes from Circuit City, replaces Stephen Olsen, who becomes vice president of merchandising supplies.
Office Depot, based in Delray Beach, FL, is No. 3 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide.
