E-COMMERCE SOLUTIONS, LLC TO POWER EXCITE@HOME`SSM CONSUMER RETAIL SHOPPING SERVICES

Stamford, CT - July 10, 2001 -- e-Commerce Solutions, LLC. (ECS), announced today a two-year agreement with Excite@HomeSM (Nasdaq: ATHM), the leader in broadband, to provide consumer retail e-commerce solutions and operation support for the ExciteSM Shopping Channel.
The initiative was designed to increase Excite@Home`s e-commerce and advertising profitability as well as provide its customers with a superior shopping experience through one-click, direct -to-merchant shopping, enhanced merchandising programs and advanced search functionality. Excite merchants gain access to a full range of targeted merchandising opportunities such as keyword search targeting, branded content modules and email sponsorships.
