E-SIM Receives an Additional $300,000 For The Rights To Use And Distribute E-SIM’s Electronic Manuals Production And Publishing Tool to an Expanded Far East Market

NEW YORK, July 11, 2001 -- e-SIM (NASDAQ:ESIM), the leader in advanced simulation technology for product design, Web-based customer support and marketing, announced today that it has expanded its relationship with Yamagata Printing Company, Ltd. Yamagata is one of the largest developers of product manuals in Japan, working with established brands such as Sony, Honda, NTT Group and others.

The agreement extends the geographic reach of the previous agreement to allow Yamagata non-exclusive rights to create and distribute JAVA-based Web simulations in select countries throughout Asia. Yamagata will begin to use e-SIM’s new Scenario Authoring Tool, used to quickly create narrated and richly animated product feature demonstrations.

In announcing the agreement, e-SIM’s President, Ken Dixon said, “We are pleased that Yamagata has decided to extend their relationship with e-SIM. This new agreement extends their reach throughout the Far East, which will help e-SIM’s technology quickly capture market share. The Far East holds enormous potential for success.”
