Agreement Positions Vendaria`s Video Technology Offerings to Enhance
InfoSpace`s Core Commerce Platforms
SEATTLE - July 23, 2001 - Vendaria Inc., a provider of streaming-video
solutions for sales, marketing and merchandising, today announced an
agreement with InfoSpace, Inc., a leading provider of the platform and
applications that enable partners to deliver consumer and commerce services
across the Internet to any device over current and next-generation networks.
Through the agreement, Vendaria`s catalog of product videos will be
available for integration into InfoSpace`s commerce platform and
distribution through InfoSpace`s network of leading Web sites and service
providers. The integration of Vendaria`s technology offerings into
InfoSpace`s suite of commerce products would enable both companies to work
with manufacturers and merchants to provide video-enabled promotions.
Vendaria`s technology enables online portals and e-commerce sites to
leverage rich-media content for sales, marketing and merchandising. Without
sacrificing quality, Vendaria`s videos are available to consumers with
dial-up connections of 36k and above, extending the reach of streaming video
to the majority of consumers. Because Vendaria`s technology is available on
all major streaming media platforms and automatically detects user
configuration, consumers can view the videos without having to download new
technology or leave the Web site.
