Gomez names three to executive positions

Gomez Inc., whose technology monitors visitor experience on web sites, has named three new executives.

Ed Murray joins the Lexington, MA-based company as senior vice president of research and development and operations. He most recently was senior vice president of Global R&D at Witness Systems. He also has held positions at Instream Corp. and Lotus Development Corp.

J. Scott Burnett has been hired as vice president of worldwide network operations. He had been vice president of worldwide operations and network engineering for Arbor Networks.

Gomez also has hired Craig Cohen as vice president of lead generation programs. He formerly was director of marketing programs at Brainshark Inc.
