SimonDelivers, Golden Valley, MN-based online retailer of groceries, has named Michael Baker vice president of merchandising. The company says Baker will oversee all aspects of merchandising, including vendor relations and programs, inventory planning, and category management.
Baker has 35 years of retail experience, most recently as vice president, perishables, at Nash Finch. His responsibilities there included sales, procurement, merchandising of 112 of Nash Finch retail stores and 12 wholesale divisions, food safety, quality control, and sanitation.
He will report to CEO Christopher Brown.
SimonDelivers serves seven counties in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area, St. Cloud and Rochester, MN, and Des Moines, IA.
