Oregon Cutting Systems Selects ARI`s Suite of e-Catalog Software and Services
ARI Software to Provide Foundation for Oregon Cutting Systems Group Catalogs
Milwaukee, Wis., October 18, 2005 — ARI (OTCBB:ARIS), a leading provider of sales and profit-building solutions for dealers in the manufactured equipment markets, announced today that the Oregon Cutting Systems Group of Blount, Inc. of Portland, OR has selected ARI’s EMPARTweb™ electronic parts catalogs for use by their dealers, distributors and internal help desk. Oregon Cutting Systems produces one of the most complete lines of outdoor power equipment parts including lawn mower blades, trimmer line and trimmer heads, belts, tires, commercial parts, spark plugs and air filters.
Under the three-year exclusive agreement, ARI will host EMPARTweb and provide an interface to Oregon’s database to provide on-demand updates and access to its parts and service catalogs by authorized Oregon dealers, distributors and internal help desk. ARI and Oregon are currently working to publish the first catalogs for viewing on EMPARTweb which will include Oregon’s saw chain, guide bars and accessories for chainsaws, mower blades, outdoor equipment parts, trimmer line and heads and brushcutter blades. The catalog is expected to be available by the end of the year.

According to Maher, Oregon Cutting Systems will simultaneously implement a new data maintenance system for its core forestry products which will update EMPARTweb regularly, ensuring that distributors, dealers and Oregon service staff have ready access to the most complete and current information for those products.
