MyPoints.com Launches MyPoints Wireless Store
Point Driven E-Commerce Offerings Expand to Include Broad Suite of Cellular
Telephones and Service Plans
SAN FRANCISCO, July 31 -- MyPoints.com, Inc., a leading
provider of Internet direct marketing and membership services, today announced
the introduction of the MyPoints Wireless Store. The MyPoints(R) Wireless
Store will offer MyPoints(R) Program members access to a broad suite of
wireless telephones and service plans at highly competitive prices. Members
who choose to purchase through the Wireless Store will receive points that are
otherwise unavailable on other Web sites selling similar wireless
telecommunications products and service plans.
Under the terms of an agreement between MyPoints.com and Simplexity, Inc.,
a leading provider of wireless telecommunications solutions via the Web,
MyPoints.com will market wireless products and services for Simplexity. The
MyPoints(R) Wireless Store will initially market four cellular phones and
14 service plans, many of which include a free phone after rebates.
