First Co-browsing to Achieve Green Light for Integration With HiPathTM
Convergence Architecture
SAN CARLOS, Calif., August 1, 2001 - Hipbone, Inc., the leading provider of
real-time Web interaction solutions, today announced that Hipbone 2.3 has
achieved certification under Siemens` ReadyTM Developer Support Program.
The Siemens Ready certification means that Hipbone 2.3, which provides
co-browsing technology, was tested and has demonstrated successful
interoperability with Siemens HiPathTM convergence architecture. Hipbone is
the first co-browsing solution to achieve Siemens Ready status, giving the
HiPath installed base an immediate option for upgrading existing contact
centers with the capability for agents to visually interact with visitors to
a company`s website.
"We are pleased to welcome Hipbone to the Siemens Ready program. Hipbone`s
testing of its co-browsing technology demonstrates its successful
integration with our HiPath products," said Al Baker, Siemens` director for
global customer interaction solutions. "With the Siemens certification,
HiPath customers can be assured that Hipbone will integrate with the Siemens
HiPath architecture."
Certification of Hipbone 2.3 was granted after rigorous testing, based on
demonstrating interoperability with Siemens HiPath platforms and
applications. HiPath architecture enables enterprises to deploy convergence
technology at their own pace, often leveraging their current infrastructure.
Testing and certification were conducted at Siemens` labs in Santa Clara,
California.
"Siemens` Ready certification of Hipbone co-browsing solutions is another
example of the ability of Hipbone to easily and rapidly integrate with
packaged CTI switching and callback solutions," said Michael Sayer,
president and CEO of Hipbone. "The Siemens Ready certification shows
Hipbone`s commitment to deliver against market needs for standards-based
co-browsing and best-of-breed new products."
Hipbone`s live interaction solutions permit companies to deliver richer
online sales and service experiences by enabling contact center personnel to
co-browse with prospects and customers while communicating using VoIP,
Internet call-back or text-chat. Hipbone`s award-winning software allows
customer service representatives to visually-assist online customers in
completing business transactions related to complex, high-value, or
high-touch products and services. Companies use Hipbone co-browsing
solutions to close online sales and provide personal, immediate customer
service on their websites. An online customer simply clicks a "Help" button
from the website to reach contact center staff and connect with them through
a shared browser. Together, they can complete online forms and
applications, review online financial statements and execute complex
purchase transactions.
Hipbone is exhibiting in the Siemens booth (number 809) at the International
Call Center Management Conference and Expo (ICCM), which is being held July
30 - August 2 in Chicago, Illinois at the Lakeside Center at McCormick
Place.
