BroadVision To Offer New Services to Quantify Return on e-Business Investments
New Services Based on BroadVision’s In-depth Research and Eight Years of Customer Experience
LAS VEGAS, NV—June 4, 2001 — At BVision2001, the fifth annual BroadVision International User’s Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, BroadVision, Inc. (Nasdaq: BVSN), a leading provider of personalized e-business applications, today announced a new service designed to help organizations quantify the potential return on their strategic e-business initiatives. This service, led initially by BroadVision’s Industry Solutions Consulting team, will evaluate an organization’s e-business strategy and make recommendations on how it can transform the way it conducts business and how it interacts with its key constituents to quickly increase growth and productivity while reducing business and IT costs. The service will later be made available through select BroadVision® partners who will have access to the same process, ROI data, and tools.
“In today’s business climate, providing facts and figures about the business value of a software solution is as important as demonstrating product features and functionality,” said Drew Bartkiewicz, vice president of Industry Solutions for BroadVision. “The Industry Solutions Consulting team service provides the tools and information that technology decision makers need to create positive bottom-line impact for their organizations.”
The service is designed to enable BroadVision’s prospects and customers to quickly determine the specific, measurable business value of BroadVision’s e-business solutions in the context of their own business. The methodology for this service was created by BroadVision in conjunction with Surgency, Inc. (formerly Benchmarking Partners), a leading e-business consulting and software solutions firm.
The service takes advantage of in-depth research conducted by BroadVision and Surgency on over 40 BroadVision customers who have used the Internet to transform their businesses. This research – and the process behind it – is designed to help BroadVision customers understand how to quantify the benefits of e-business solutions as they relate to Customer, Partner and Employee Relationship Management, knowledge management, and the effective use of enterprise portals for managing transactions and personalized information.
