WebRx.com Becomes Exclusive Provider of Baby Care Products For iMaternity.com
Emeryville, California and Chicago, Illinois. - August 13, 2001 - HealthCentral (Nasdaq: HCEN), a leading provider of healthcare e-commerce and content, and imaternity, a leading provider of maternity and baby care products over the Internet and through its brick-and-mortar retail stores, announced today that they have signed a sales agreement whereby customers of imaternity will be able to purchase all of the baby care products of WebRx.com through the imaternity website. This includes a total of approximately 1,800 such products.
The agreement enables imaternity to offer its online customers an expanded selection of baby care products such as car seats, strollers, bath care products, formula, diapers, bedding and toys, as well as vitamins, minerals, supplements and heath aids for children and expecting mothers, all of which are currently offered to WebRx.com customers. Customers will have access to all WebRx.com baby care products, information and services through the imaternity website at www.imaternity.com.
