Version 3.0 Allows For Simple, Real-Time Updating of Components Within Interactive 3D Environments

Los Angeles, CA – August 14, 2001 – RichFX Inc. today at Siggraph 2001 announced the launch of RichFX Version 3.0, the latest advancement of its pioneering technology platform for 3D Video Graphics Technology. RichFX technology combines the strengths of streaming video with the flexibility of 3D graphics to create a powerful emotional and interactive experience online, regardless of Internet connection speed.

RichFX Version 3.0 advancements all work while maintaining a continuous user experience over low bit-rate connections such as 56K dial-up modems. These advancements enable users to:
· Dynamically configure and update both 3D and 2D representations of products within a 3D Environment. For example, if a product in a 3D shopping Environment sells out, Version 3.0 can automatically replace it with another appropriate product that is in stock.
· Easily modify product displays or change in-store banners, posters or other merchandising materials within a 3D Environment. This feature, for example, streamlines the implementation of seasonal promotions and makes it possible to custom-tailor Environments to individual visitors based on previous purchases or other information.
· Create and deliver single product presentations using a standard HTTP server, eliminating the need for any customized server software. This allows for the rapid adoption of RichFX-enabled objects onto a Web site, which can later be integrated into a full 3D Video Graphics Environment.
· Use Version 3.0’s 3D tools within Discreet’s 3ds max™ and Version 3.0’s 2D tools within Adobe® PhotoShop®.
