Payment processor First National Merchant Solutions has released a method to manage chargebacks via a web browser. “We’ve taken paper out of the process,” says Diana Mehochko, president of First National Merchant Solutions. “We’re giving our customers the ability to resolve chargebacks online.”
With the system, called First Resolution Online, users employ a standard web browser to accept chargebacks, retrievals and reversal items and drill down into each item to view documentation. It also allows users to export data in a variety of file formats, and upload data that can be attached to e-mails.
First National says five merchants are using First Resolution Online, including L. L. Bean.
