Interactive agency Refinery hires SVP in charge of search marketing
Gerry McGoldrick has been named senior vice president of search engine services at Hatboro, PA-based Refinery, an interactive advertising agency. McGoldrick is co-founder and former president of directMASS, a search engine marketing firm recently acquired by Refinery.
McGoldrick brings seven years of search engine marketing experience. As co-founder of directMASS, he managed the daily operations and business development.
“Search is integral to the overall interactive marketing process and Gerry gives us a great asset in that space,” said Andrew Sullivan, Refinery CEO. “We are thrilled to have someone with his talent and experience on our team as we deepen our search practice and continue to grow our business.”
Before founding directMASS, McGoldrick was vice president of media services and corporate development with Insight Interactive Group. He has also served as media director with i-Frontier.
Refinery’s clients include Sony, Urban Outfitters, Campbell Soup Co., Comcast, Commerce Bank, GlaxoSmithKline, Merrill Lynch, Motorola, Rohm & Haas, and Wyeth.
