EBay.com recorded the most visits among the top 10 online shopping sites in November, with 64.2 million visits, up 14% from 56.3 million in November 2005, according to Nielsen/NetRatings Inc.
Amazon.com Inc. ranked second with 48.6 million visits, up 14% from 42.5 million; followed by Wal-Mart Stores Inc., 34.5 million, up 25% from 27.7 million; Target Corp., 29.2 million, up 27% from 23 million; the Shopzilla.com network, 21.6 million, up 9% from 19.8 million; BestBuy.com, 21.1 million, up 23% from 17.2 million; the Shopping.com network, 20.4 million, unchanged from 2005; Dell Inc., 18 million, up 3% from 17.5 million; Yahoo Shopping, 15.9 million, up 20% from 13.3 million; and NexTag Network, 15.7 million, up 30% from 12.1 million.
Also in November, PepsiCo Inc. had the most online ad impressions in the consumer goods industry, according to Nielsen’s AdRelevance Report. The leading brands and their ad impressions (in millions) were:
