New names, new faces, and new markets for Easy2
Cleveland, Ohio. August 2001 -- Easy2.com announces the unveiling of its new name, Easy2 Technologies. This new name reflects the company’s recent successful shift from being a branded consumer destination site to a B-B-C (business-to-business-to-consumer) tutorial provider. A nationwide leader in developing and distributing animated instructional materials, Easy2 Technologies offers three unique products: How-to Tutorials, DemonstraVISION, and InstructoVISION.
Following its market-by-market growth strategy, Easy2 is extending its offerings to companies within the medical industry. Companies that develop and market medical devices, supplies and pharmaceuticals can all benefit from the demonstrative and instructional benefits of Easy2’s products. Marketing efforts towards this new niche are already underway and Easy2 plans to release its first medical tutorial within the next 30 days.
To better implement Easy2’s growth strategies, new hires have been added to key departments within the organization, increasing sales and production capabilities. The new staff additions bring with them multiple years of experience in business development and educational assets, making for a winning team and providing the framework for further development and growth of Easy2 Technologies.
A guiding force in the development of Easy2 Technologies, company President and Founder John Bukovnik has led the company for the past two years, successfully surviving the recent dot-com fallout. As Bukovnik noted, “Easy2 has attained national acclaim due to product quality, focus on the customer and a product line that makes sense for today’s marketplace.”
Easy2 will continue to offer its three core products in the home improvement field, and will now aggressively expand into the medical domain. As Director of Business Development George Koenig points out, “E-health is an untapped reservoir —according to Modern Healthcare, Americans bought $132 billion worth of retail outpatient prescriptions last year, up 19% from 1999, and steep increases are expected to continue. There is a great need for e-health applications to educate not only retail but hospital pharmacies. The time is now to take what we do best – producing tutorials and educating the public and applying it to a market that is growing by leaps and bounds.”
Easy2 Technology’s three primary product lines are How-to Tutorials -- comprehensive project-based tutorials based on solution-oriented content and offered both in HTML and animated formats. InstructoVISION are self-paced, interactive and animated product support modules that help end-users solve product related issues such as assembly, installation, use, and maintenance. DemonstraVISION are interactive animated product showcases that help audiences understand the features and benefits of each product. Finally, Easy2 offers supporting services that include testing and tracking, user survey, and hosting services.
Easy2 Technologies is a turnkey developer and provider of animated tutorial-based information. All of Easy2’s products and services are designed to help educate and inform its clients’ target audiences about their own products and services. The net result is an increase in sales and a decrease in costs associated with product support.
