Delia's online traffic grows
Shoppers to Delia's Corp's Delias.com increased 13.7% during the third quarter to approximately 432,000 from 380,000 as of July 2000. The company says Delia's direct business has seen a strong response thus far to holiday and winter offerings. "We remain focused on driving gURL.com, TheSpark.com and SparkNotes.com toward profitability," said Stephen Kahn, CEO. "Last week we announced our decision to shut down operations of iTurf.com. This decision was a difficult one, but we believe it represents a necessary step in focusing our resources on those properties that have the best opportunity to thrive in this challenging environment."
