Discount jeweler Ultra Stores launches a web site

The luxury sites just keep on coming. In spite of the demise of Miadora.com this fall, other luxury retailers continue to open shop on the web. The latest: Ultra Stores Inc., which launched UltraStores.com today. Ultra Stores Inc., based in Chicago, sells fine jewelry in value and outlet centers under the names Ultra Diamond Outlet, Premier Fine Jewelry Direct, and Jeweler's Outlet. Ultra is the number-one buyer of closeout jewelry and watches in the United States. It will have 140 stores by the end of 2001. The site is powered by systems from OneSoft Corp.
