Yahoo! Inc. today launched the Last-Minute Gift Center on Yahoo! Shopping, offering consumers gift selections from popular Yahoo! Shopping merchants who can deliver at the last minute, including Nordstrom.com, Barnes & Noble, RedEnvelope and CircuitCity.com, among other brand-name merchants. Each merchant's shipping and delivery information is clearly outlined, so Yahoo! Shopping consumers know the date by which they need to order to receive their deliveries on time.
-- Barnes & Noble will guarantee Christmas delivery of any in-stock item ordered by Dec. 18 and shipped with standard delivery, ordered by Dec. 19 and shipped using Second Day Air, or ordered by Dec. 20 and shipped using Next Day Air.
-- RedEnvelope utilizes a strategically placed fulfillment facility on the tarmac of Airborne Express and will guarantee delivery by Christmas for orders placed by midnight Dec. 22.
-- CircuitCity.com offers direct shipping though Dec. 20 as well as the option of immediate pickup at nearly 600 Circuit City Superstores nationwide through Christmas Eve.
-- Nordstrom.com: Consumers can place orders with Nordstrom.com as late as the 10 a.m. on Dec. 23 for guaranteed Christmas delivery for all in-stock items when shipped Next Day Delivery at an additional charge.
