Hallmark.com, E-Cards.com and 123 Greetings.com each experienced 100% up-time on Father’s Day in a survey of leading e-card sites, while Hallmark posted the fastest average page-downloading time, web analytics company Webmetrics reports in a study released today.
BlueMountain.com had the second-fastest page-downloading time of 2.93 seconds, though its site up-time was only 90.97% with 26 errors out of 288 attempts, according to the survey results.
E-Cards.com and 123Greetings.com posted average page-downloading times of 3.57 seconds and 3.93 seconds, respectively.
American Greetings scored an average page-download time of 5.14 seconds and a site up-time of 86.46% with 39 errors out of 288 attempts, Webmetrics says. American Greetings and Blue Mountain each experienced errors mostly during the same time periods, between 12 a.m. and 8 a.m. PDT and between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m., Webmetrics says. American Greetings and BlueMountain.com are both owned by American Greetings Corp.
Webmetrics, a provider of web-site testing, monitoring and analytics services, monitored the five sites in its Father’s Day e-card study with its SiteMonitor service once every five minutes between midnight Saturday June 18, and midnight Sunday, June 19. Average page-download times were based on full-page downloads.
