EasyAsk Appoints Vicidomino to Executive Vice President

- Former Vignette Executive to Lead Worldwide Field Operations-

Littleton, Mass. - August 29, 2001 - EasyAsk Inc., a provider of precise search technology for e-commerce sites, enterprise information portals and wireless applications, today announced that John Vicidomino has joined the company as EVP of Worldwide Field Operations. At EasyAsk, Mr. Vicidomino will be responsible for all field operations, including consulting and direct and indirect sales.

John has over 16 years of experience in the enterprise software arena and has held positions in sales, marketing, consulting and business development. Most recently, John led OEM/ASP Sales at Vignette Corporation. While at Vignette, he increased the company`s revenue in the OEM/ASP division by a factor of seven times in less than a year. Prior to Vignette, John was responsible for Worldwide Sales at Datasage and was instrumental in growing revenues over 500% prior to the successful acquisition of Datasage by Vignette in January 2000.
