J. Jill CFO Conley takes on additional duties of top administrative officer

Olga L. Conley, executive vice president and CFO of women`s apparel retailer J. Jill Group Inc. responsible for finance, accounting and information technology, has taken on the additional duties of chief administrative officer in charge of the retailer’s multi-channel fulfillment, distribution and contact center operations.

Conley, who has been with J. Jill for more than 14 years, said J. Jill sees the value of serving all of its retail channels—stores, web and catalog—from the same fulfillment, distribution and contact centers. “We don’t segment these operations by channel, we think it works better when they support multiple channels,” she tells InternetRetailer.com.

Conley was appointed Treasurer in 1993, then vice president of finance in 1996. She was appointed CFO in 1997 and executive vice president in 2003.

“Conley has been instrumental in our evolution from a traditional cataloger to a national, multi-channel, lifestyle retailer,” said president and CEO Gordon R. Cooke.
