Former Stride Rite e-commerce exec joins analytics firm Compete
Web analytics firm Compete Inc. has hired Gregg Poulin as general manager of Compete.com. Poulin comes from Stride Rite Corp. where has was director of e-commerce and focused on developing Keds.com.
Compete.com, launched a year ago, offers marketers two paid online services. Site Analytics provides data on the visitors to web sites and Search Analytics, launched two months ago, provides information on the keywords that drive searchers to web sites. “My role is to develop more products like that,” Poulin says. He will also head up the development of the Search Analytics product.

Compete collects data from a panel of 2 million Internet users.
Before Stride Rite, Poulin directed e-commerce strategy at Keurig Inc., a manufacturer of coffee machines.
