E-Commerce Leader LaGarde Experiencing Record Growth in 2005
Influx of mid market customers and increased integration capabilities help spur success
Chicago, Ill - LaGarde, makers of the industry leading StoreFront® e-commerce platform, has experienced record growth in 2005. A major increase in revenue coupled with a large number of significant new customer acquisitions have resulted in growth of nearly 70% for the year.
The addition of over 1,500 new clients includes many market leading names such as Cox News, Malibu Boats, Rossignol, The Portland Trailblazers, Raytheon, Springbok Puzzles and Lee Jeans.
Over 200 of LaGarde’s new customers are from the mid market segment, confirming the strength of the company’s position in providing an extensible, interoperable platform. The solution has proven to be well suited for merchants who need to integrate online operations with back-office business systems and for merchants who have unique business processes not easily met by multi-tenant e-commerce service platforms. “Integration and extensibility have been significant market drivers for our success this year,” said Bob LaGarde, CEO and Founder of LaGarde. “Companies are realizing that in order to scale their online operations they must have full back-office automation.
