Returns Online and OrderTrust team up


OrderTrust Inc., A provider of outsourced e-commerce infrastructure services, today announced an alliance with Returns Online Inc., a provider of returns management services for merchants and manufacturers in the retail and e-commerce industries. This agreement creates a front-to-back solution for order fulfillment as well as returns by integrating Returns Online's return management system with OrderTrust's order management and payment processing services. "Approximately 25 percent of online purchases will be returned. The inability to efficiently handle returns and exchanges of items bought online inevitably leads to aggravated customers and decreased customer retention," said Jim Daniell, CEO of OrderTrust. "Retailers require return management systems that are painless for the consumers. Our partnership with Returns Online provides merchants with a comprehensive solution for returns management integrated with our solution for order management." Under the agreement, return authorizations are routed through the OrderTrust network directly into the Returns Online system, allowing for easier and quicker returns, and more satisfied customers. Utilizing the OrderTrust network will also enable Returns Online to offer its customers a variety of new services, including the ability to handle credit card transactions.
