ValueClick brings in an SVP of business development

Online marketing services company ValueClick Inc. has re-hired Jeff Hirsch to be senior vice president, business development. Hirsch joined ValueClick from his position as chief revenue officer of Fastclick.com Inc., where he was responsible for building Fastclick`s sales, business development, and marketing functions.

Before joining FastClick, Hirsch was vice president, business development, for ValueClick.

Hirsch was the first outside professional to join Fastclick in early 2001 and helped develop Fastclick from a start-up operation.

Hirsch’s responsibilities will involve strengthening and expanding the company`s publisher networks and strategic relationships.

ValueClick operates Commission Junction, an affiliate network; ValueClick Media, which offers a range of online advertising services; and Mediaplex, which provides technology and services that help advertisers, agencies and publishers manage their online advertising and permission-based email campaigns.
