Channel Intelligence Doubles Its Retailer Client Base Each Quarter, for Five Consecutive Quarters
Top ranking internet retailers now use the SellCast™ Commerce Data Syndication as a key marketing tool to increase online sales.
Orlando, Fla. December 05, 2005 – Channel Intelligence, a leading provider of e-commerce data solutions for online retailers, today announced a record number of new internet retailer clients signed in the third quarter. The new clients are using its SellCast™ Commerce Data Syndication solution with ten of these retailers joining existing Channel Intelligence clients ranked on Internet Retailer’s Top 400 list. The new additions include: Newegg (#9), Apple Store (#17), Northern Tool & Equipment (#75), B&H Photo (#104), J&R (#157), ICE.com (#178), Discovery Channel Store (#200), Multiwave Direct (#222), PC Universe (#289), and Digitally Unique (#331).
The SellCast™ Commerce Data Syndication solution automates the delivery and optimization of a retailer’s online product catalog as it is sent to comparison shopping engines, shopping portals, affiliate networks and dozens of other destination sites. Through its patented optimization process, the Commerce Data Syndication solution ensures that more products appear at the shopping destination sites in the categories where consumers are most likely to find them. Because of this, retailers have seen an increase in top line revenue. This solution also provides robust reporting capabilities that help retailers improve the profitability of their marketing programs by enabling them to syndicate only the products that convert into sales.
“We launched this solution in early 2004 with Best Buy as our first client,” said Channel Intelligence president and CEO Rob Wight. “Since then we have seen tremendous adoption and growth of our SellCast™ Commerce Data Syndication solution. Our patented technology allows us to increase both the web traffic and online sales in a way that just can’t be matched by internal IT teams or competitors.”
An early adopter of the solution, Chris Cummings, senior vice president and CIO of eToys Direct (#140) said, “The Commerce Data Syndication solution sends our product data feeds to our partners, portals and affiliates without individual integration processes or constant monitoring. Channel Intelligence adds invaluable expertise and accuracy to this process, which allows us to focus on growing our overall business”.
