Mindy Meads leaves Victoria’s Secret Direct
Mindy Meads, CEO and president of Victoria’s Secret Direct, has left the company after less than a year to pursue other interests, Limited Brands Inc., Victoria’s Secret’s parent company, says.
Meads joined Victoria’s Secret after leaving her position as CEO of Lands’ End in August 2005. Pia Ferrario, an 18-year veteran of Victoria’s Secret Direct, has been named CEO and will lead the operation along with COO Rick Jackson.
Ferrario most recently served as executive vice president of intimate apparel, shoes, accessories and swimwear. She previously held the post of executive vice president of apparel.
“Pia has a deep understanding of the Victoria’s Secret Direct business model and has been instrumental in the growth of the business,” says Leslie H. Wexner, chairman and CEO of Limited Brands, No. 43 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide to Retail Web Sites.
