
Apple continues to lead computer web sites by a wide margin
Apple Inc. continued as the leading computer hardware web site in May, with nearly three times the amount of unique visitors as No. 2 Hewlett-Packard Co., reports Nielsen/NetRatings. Hewlett-Packard, however, experienced a 34% gain in unique visitors in May while No. 3 Dell Inc. staged a bit of a recovery from declining traffic the past few months and registered an 8% gain year over year in May.
The top 10 computer hardware sites, with unique visitors in May 2007, May 2006 (in millions) and percent growth year over year, according to Nielsen/NetRatings, were:
