Fathom Online hires an exec from AOL and a CFO from Alibris
Mike Goos has been named vice president product management for Fathom Online, a search engine marketing company. Goos will lead Fathom’s initiative to develop new products.
Fathom Online also recently announced that Steve Gillan has joined the company as chief financial officer. Gillan most recently was CFO at online bookseller Alibris. While there, he managed three acquisitions, two rounds of private equity financing and the preparation and filing for an IPO.
Goos joins Fathom from AOL where he was worked in search and RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds technology. Before AOL, Goos was with web site analytics company Coremetrics Inc. He also has held positions in technology and product management at GeoCities (acquired by Yahoo) and Autodesk.
