CarParts.com, a consumer source for vehicle parts and accessories on the web, has added tires, tools, and shop supplies to its online store, www.CarParts.com. El Segundo, Calif.-based CarParts.com already offers what it says is the largest selection of auto-related products online, including 2.5 million car parts, performance products and accessories to repair or customize cars, vans, trucks and SUVs.

Consumers do not need to know the tire size for their vehicle. By clicking on the make, year and model of their vehicle, consumers are provided with a list of all the tires that fit their vehicle from a variety of brands. Size, brand name, tire type and speed rating can further narrow searches.

Tire brands at CarParts.com include B.F. Goodrich, Continental, Dunlop Goodyear, Michelin, Nitto, Pirelli and Yokohama. Among the tools and shop supplies now available are Chicago Pneumatic (air-tools), SK Tools (hand tools), Larin (Lift Equipment), Schumacher (battery chargers, welders), K- Tools (specialty automotive tools), Better Life Technologies (rubber floor matting), Bondo (body repair supplies and tools) and Blue Coral and Westley Products (Car Care Products).

Wholesalers, jobbers and installers can use the company's PartsXchange e-commerce solution, says the company.
