Online retailer EBuyer hires vp of sales, marketing and product management
Online retailer Ebuyer US Inc. has hired Mike Houghton as vice president of sales, marketing and product management. Houghton is former vice president of marketing for marketing company Direct Alliance Corp.
EBuyer, online retailer of computers, computer peripherals, software, sporting equipment, home electronics and other merchandise, says it plans to triple its business by the end of 2006. In the past year, Ebuyer US Inc. says it has doubled its sales. The company says it will expand its marketing efforts and its product assortment. The company, based in Sheffield, England, was founded in 2002 and has over 1.5 million registered customers and more than 300 employees. EBuyer US is based in Chandler, AZ. The company is looking to staff up its Arizona operation.
