Partnership To Build Online Gift Malls
Altura International, a designer, manager and developer of custom online shopping malls, and its subsidiary and flagship shopping portal CatalogCity.com, have signed an agreement with Gifts.com to develop custom online gift stores for web sites.
The partnership will use the Altura Merchant Operating System and Gifts.com's merchandising team to provide an end-to-end e-commerce solution. The custom gift malls will take on the look and feel of a partner's web site and feature Gifts.com products as well as selections from CatalogCity.com's collection of more than 200,000 products from 600 brand-name catalogs.
The Altura Merchant Operating System is a multivendor, multilingual, multicurrency universal shopping cart platform capable of giving consumers around the globe, at different web sites and on different classes of devices, access to thousands of products, says the Monterey, Calif.-based company.
