Avid Sportswear & Golf Corp. has launched its new web site, www.avidsportscorp.com. Sarasota, Fla.-based Avid's products are sold under a trademarked label in the premium and mid-priced markets featuring large sizing in the 30 to 55-year-old men's category. The company recently signed domestic licensing agreements with Dockers/Levi Strauss to market a moderately priced Dockers Golf Collection, and with IMG to market the British Open Collection, through the Royal and Ancient Golf Club.
Avid sells its products primarily through golf pro shops and resorts, corporate sales accounts and specialty stores. The web site has been specifically designed to bring the Avid range of products to the attention of potential customers, it says, while providing an information facility for present and future investors.
