Junction Solutions, a provider of multi-channel retail and food and beverage enterprise software applications based on the Microsoft platform, has secured a $7.5 million investment from lead investor MK Capital, one of the largest software venture capital investors in the Midwest. The company reports that it will use the funds to expand Junction Solutions’ software portfolio and customer support resources for its multi-channel retail and food & beverage processing applications for medium and large enterprises.

“MK Capital only invests in companies with outstanding customer satisfaction, proven industry expertise and a solid technological foundation,” says Mark Koulogeorge managing general partner of MK Capital. “Our extensive diligence revealed that Junction Solutions achieves the highest marks with each of these categories. We look forward to Junction Solutions’ accelerated growth with its sound Microsoft Dynamics AX platform and stellar reputation within its chosen industries.”

Koulogeorge, who is also leader of MK Capital’s software investment practice, will join the Junction Solutions board of directors. Chris Sang, CEO of ClairVista, formerly the CEO of iFulfillment, CFO of specialty retailer Ulta, and a member of the board of directors of Retek, also will join the Junction Solutions board.
