Keynote’s Q3 revenue up 26% year-over-year
Third-quarter revenue at San Mateo, CA-based web site performance monitoring company Keynote Systems Inc. increased 26% to $13.5 million from $10.7 million in Q3 a year ago, the company reports. Net earnings for the quarter reached $1.7 million, up from $1.5 million a year earlier.
"Our third quarter numbers represent Keynote`s eighth consecutive quarter of profitability and fourteenth consecutive quarter of positive cash flow from operations. However, the most significant development this quarter, and the one for which we are most pleased, is that our Earnings Before Interest, Taxes and Amortization in the third quarter was $1.5 million, the highest ever recorded in our company’s history, and it was 12% of revenue," said Umang Gupta, chairman and CEO of Keynote.
As of June 30, Keynote`s total worldwide customer base was approximately 2,200 companies with 14,000 individual subscribers. On average during the third quarter of fiscal year 2005, Keynote captured over 63 million Internet performance measurements daily. The company operates 1,600 measurement computers in more than 50 cities worldwide
