VistaPrint web sales rise 76%
VistaPrint Ltd., an online retailer and supplier of graphic design services and customized printed products, posted revenue of $64 million in the second quarter, an increase of 76% from sales of $36.4 million in Q2 2006.
Net income in the second quarter reached $8.3 million vs. $5.5 million in Q2 2006, an increase of 13%.
For the first six months of the 2007 fiscal year, VistaPrint, No. 96 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide to Retail Web Sites, recorded net income of $14.3 million on revenue of $114 million, compared with net income of $8.36 million on revenue of $65.3 for the first six months of the prior year. "VistaPrint saw another outstanding quarter," says president and CEO Robert Keane. "We acquired over 687,000 first-time paying customers in the quarter and generated 64% of bookings from repeat customers, while non-U.S. web sites contributed 34% of revenue in the quarter.
