Good Sailing For Saleoutlet In June

Saleoutlet.com Inc. reports that its Web activity level for June 2000 continued strong in all major categories including page views, transactions, catalog requests and unique visitors.

The New York City-based Internet marketing resource company attributes the growth to the addition of 145 new online vendors, new revenue sharing agreements with content providers and the expansion of its product categories.

For the month of June 2000, the site received about 2.5 million hits, a 58% increase over May, says Michael Aronowitz, President and CEO. It also saw a 66% jump in unique visitors and the 63% improvement in the number of visitor sessions, he says.

"What we saw in June was the successful navigation and monetization of our marketing programs, which includes e-mail, special advertising efforts, contests and private-label e-commerce sites," adds Aronowitz. "The syndication of our business model is proving a powerful and outstanding revenue driver for our client/vendors."

Saleoutlet.com, launched in May 1999, is a business-to-consumer vertical e-commerce portal where price-conscious consumers can find and buy name-brand sale items from a variety of retailers and vendors. It also offers business-to-business turnkey online retail solutions for content sites or e-commerce sites. Its third-party exchange model allows Saleoutlet to sell products and marketing services without an inventory risk and minimal branding to the consumer market, it says.
