Online sales are up 23% for week ending July 10

Online sales were up 23% for the week ending July 10 over the corresponding week a year ago, reaching $1 billion from $815 million a year ago, comScore Networks Inc. reports.

By comparison, total retail sales for the week ending July 9 were up 4.1% from the same week a year ago, reports ShopperTrak’s National Retail Sales Estimate.

Online travel sales for week ending July 10 were up 4% to $1.05 billion from $1.101 billion in the corresponding week a year ago, comScore reports.
