Lillian Vernon hires a new head of operations from Best Buy
Lillian Vernon has hired Chris Anderson, former general manager of engineering, quality and processing for the Private Label Division of Best Buy Corp., as executive vice president of operations. Anderson will be responsible for improvement of fulfillment operations for the 56-year-old catalog and online retailer. He will report to Mike Muoio, president and CEO of Lillian Vernon, No. 66 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide.
Before joining Best Buy, No. 11 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, Anderson worked for Dell Inc. as director of worldwide process technology and at IBM as senior manager of global operations.
