Amazon’s Endless.com customers will get $5 for choosing overnight shipping
In the competitive category of online shoe sales, Amazon.com Inc. is taking free shipping to new heights. Through the end of February, Amazon will actually pay customers $5 when they choose the overnight shipping option.
Amazon, No. 1 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, launched its Endless.com shoe and handbag store earlier this month to compete with Zappos.com and ShoeBuy.com, both of which offer free standard shipping. All three offer free return shipping and a 110% price guarantee.
Zappos.com, No. 34 the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, began offering free overnight shipping on a test basis the week before Christmas and now offers it on all purchases.
