Webvan Heads for Sacramento

Webvan, whose expansion to Atlanta on May 1 marked its first foray beyond Northern California and its second market push, has broadened its reach on its home turf. The Internet grocer says it will begin deliveries on June 1 to Sacramento as well as various San Francisco-area communities it previously did not serve. The latest expansion will be fed from the company's 330,000-square-foot warehouse in Oakland.
