The Lap of eLuxury

The long-awaited LVMH Moet Hennessey Louis Vuitton luxury goods Web site has finally debuted at eluxury.com. The site features 2,200 luxury products from 60 brands, including gourmet products, fashions, home and beauty items. Other retailers in the luxury goods area have carved out their space on the Internet, all the while awaiting the LVMH site. Eluxury operates a 105,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center in Memphis where it stores all non-perishable items. It promises delivery within four days. Eluxury is owned by the luxury products group LVMH Mo‘t Hennessey Louis Vuitton SA; Europatweb, the Internet industrial arm of Group Arnault, which is privately-owned by LVMH's Chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault; and company management, either directly or through stock options.
