Carolina Rustica names new vice president of operations

Carolina Rustica, a Concord, NC-based online, catalog and store retailer of home furnishings, has named furniture industry veteran Keila Hughes to the newly created position of vice president of operations. She will report to president and CEO Richard Sexton.

Hughes joins Carolina Rustica from Boone, NC-based furniture maker Charleston Forge, where she was vice president of sales and oversaw dealer relationships, marketing and customer service. In her new position, Hughes will be responsible for streamlining customer service, warehousing and shipping, and for developing b2b relationships with home furnishing suppliers as well as home builders and designers.
