eBay and Amazon rank among Top 10 web sites in the world, comScore reports

Two retail web sites ranked among the 10 largest web sites in the world in December, according to new data from comScore Networks Inc. EBay Inc. sites around the world hosted enough unique visitors (251.4 million) to rank eBay No. 5, while Amazon.com Inc. sites ranked No. 7 with 151 million unique visitors. The unique visitor measure counts someone who visits a web site only once each month, no matter how many times the visitor returns.
