Online consumer spending rises 30% for the week ended July 24
Online consumer spending rose 30% to $1.38 billion for the week ended July 24, up from $1.06 billion in the comparable week a year ago, comScore Networks Inc. reports.
By contrast, total retail spending rose 5.3% for the week ended July 23, according to ShopperTrak RCT Corp.’s National Retail Sales Estimate.
Online travel sales rose 12% to $1.23 billion for the week ended July 24, up from $1.1 billion in the comparable week a year ago, comScore says.
