Neiman Marcus promotes online head to CEO of stores
Karen Katz, president and CEO of Neiman Marcus Direct, the online and catalog division of Neiman Marcus Group Inc., has been named CEO of Neiman Marcus Stores. Her successor as head of Neiman Marcus Direct has yet to be named.
Neiman Marcus Direct reported an increase in operating earnings to $6.5 million for the fiscal fourth quarter ended Aug. 3, up from a loss of $300,000 a year ago. Fourth-quarter revenues grew to $96 million from $90 million.
Katz, a 17-year veteran of the Dallas-based company, had also served as executive vice president of Neiman Marcus Stores.
