Keynote reports transaction success rates increase slightly
The Keynote E-Commerce Transaction Performance Index rose to 99.28% for the week of Aug. 15, up from 99.22% the previous week, Keynote Systems reported. Success rates dipped as low as 99.22% (Sears) to a high of 100% (Eddie Bauer) for the week.
Transaction success rates are the ratio of completely successful transactions to attempted transactions.
Response times for the week averaged 10.39 seconds, compared with 16.48 seconds the previous week, Keynote said. Response times ranged from 18.28 seconds (Office Max) to 6.36 seconds (Office Depot).
Keynote measures traffic to nine retail sites.
