MORGAN HILL, Calif.--Oct. 27, 2004--Alien Technology(R) Corporation, a leading provider of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) products, today announced that VF Corporation (NYSE:VFC), a world leader in branded apparel, has signed a multi-year agreement to purchase Alien(R) tags and readers. VF will use these EPC Class 1 products to tag cases and pallets destined for Wal*Mart and other retailers requiring RFID tags.
