Kewill Releases Version 9.2 Of Its Flagship Product – Clippership
MARLBOROUGH, MA., October 28, 2004 - Kewill Solutions North America (LSE: KWL), the leader in enterprise shipping management software, announced today general availability of release 9.2 of its industry-leading Clippership multi-carrier transportation solution.
Clippership Version 9.2 includes the following new capabilities:
• FedEx CSP certification: Clippership is certified with version 6.85 of FedEx Ship Manager Server (FSMS), which allows users to rate and process FedEx Ground via FSMS and implement Canadian Trans-border distribution shipments.
• UPS compliant: Enhancements include return services Print Return Label, Electronic Return Label and Print & Mail, as well as shipper release and OS3. Shipper release enables delivery on the first attempt, without a signature and OS3 accommodates packages with combined length and girth over 130 inches (see www.ups.com or UPS Rate and Service Guide for details).
• Improved audit, archiving, and analysis capabilities: New and simplified access to the Daily File Export provides an additional method of retrieving shipping data out of your system. This data can be stored in a data warehouse for analysis, archived for integration into ERP, or stored for auditing shipping transactions.
• Expanded LTL suppport: Ratrix/RateWare Carrier Module offers the ability to configure up to 17 different special services (call before del., fuel surcharge, inside delivery, above ground with and without elevator) including customization of special services
• Improved customer service: Ability to download and view bulk USPS Proof of Delivery files for signature confirmation and/or Express Mail packages
